How the consultation process worked

Using her iPad, Jennifer and her daughter logged on and were able to see and talk to a physiotherapist. The physio was able to perform an assessment by asking Jennifer questions and looking at her movement and balance.
Jennifer positioned her iPad so the physio could see her walk and complete some simple balance tests, while Jennifer’s daughter stood by to help. Together, Jennifer and the physio set a goal of improving her confidence with balance for walking around the house and going for walks around the village with a wheelie frame.
After this session, the physiotherapist developed an exercise program for Jennifer, along with a plan to help her achieve her goal. Jennifer received the program by email and was able to complete this independently at home.
Jennifer had follow-up appointments online to check how she was going with her exercises and to assess her balance.
Jennifer is now feeling much more confident with her balance and is thankful she was able to find such a convenient service.
